In depth background in payer operations, including member administration, provider networks, capitation and an emphasis on claims administration and benefits. Managed over 30 healthcare software installations and developed both enrollment and utilization management (UM) software. Worked with all lines of business, including Medicaid and Medicare.

  • Directed strategic program oversight for a software vendor focusing on defining their future vision to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare insurance industry
  • Implemented a Medicare & Medicaid Educational Outreach Program for a State Agency
  • Led system and procurement projects for several mid-sized health plans and Medicaid plans 
  • Led project to implement healthcare software for a staff model health maintenance organization (HMO)
  • Directed the day to day operations for a Dental PPO program
